Our Mission

Lend a Hand Heal a Heart is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and support within the community.

We envision fostering an inclusive and supportive community by creating a dynamic platform through newsletters and events, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with mental and physical disabilities, while generating proceeds to offer impactful financial support scholarships to members in need.

Outreach

Our mentorship program pairs volunteers with individuals to provide emotional and social support, while our Senior Outreach initiative involves volunteers reading to and playing games with seniors, particularly those dealing with Alzheimer's/Dementia.

Community

We are committed to cultivating a sense of community and fostering inclusivity for individuals with mental and physical disabilities and illnesses through our diverse recreational programs, offering organization members a range of activities such as painting, music, game nights, movie nights, and other interactive experiences.

Support

Our nonprofit is committed to assisting individuals caring for loved ones with mental illnesses by offering a dedicated support group, providing caregivers the opportunity to gather bi-monthly, fostering a supportive environment where they can connect, share experiences, and offer mutual encouragement.

What makes us

different?

Lend a Hand Heal a Heart Inc. is family-oriented and everyone who joins in with us will be treated like family.

We offer a lot of one-on-one interaction to those with special needs and we include their caregivers in our events. We understand that the challenges one faces are not just hard on the individual but on the immediate family as well and we consider that when offering our services.
